Daffodil Easter Card (Thank you Cindy Lee Bee) and a Sale-a-Bration Pineapple Card

 Hello, My Fun Stamping Friends,

Here's hoping that you've not had too much scary weather.  We have had several different days of  tornado watches and warnings but have been fortunate to have nothing more than some high winds and heavy rains.  Today we're 80 degrees--just like Florida!!

A special shout out to my Cocoa Village (Central) Library stampers.  They are such a wonderful and positive group.  We had our class on Tuesday and we had such fun!  Thank you, Bev, Laurie, Gloria, Sydney, Annemarie, Alice, Denise, Carol and Mary!  We made Cindy Lee's pretty daffodil card.  It is a Faux Center Step card and it is super easy to make.  Email me at reenathan6@gmail if you would like the dimensions for your papers.

We used Blender Brushes and stamping off for the Pineapple card.  I L.o.v.e. the Blender Brushes.  (Quick tip:  Start off on your scratch paper and use a circular motion so that you don't end up with heavy smudges.  You can clean your Blender Blushes with dishwashing soap.)

Here are this week's projects:

Here is our pineapple card.  I loved everyone's stamping/stamping off!.  They were all beautiful and all different!
Here is the side view of our Faux Center Step card.  Pay no mind to the extra score mark on the back of the center step panel.  My first score line was incorrect but it worked anyway.

The beautiful DSP (Designer Series Paper) that we used was FREE!  I love it!  I'm sorry to say that it is no longer available.

CASEing Cindy Lee Bee and Thank You, Mary!

Hello, Everyone!

I hope your weekend is going well .  Our morning included severe weather warnings all morning and into the early afternoon.  Now we have dropping temperatures into the 40's with lots of wind chill!!  The good news is that we'll back to Florida weather by Tuesday!  Yayyyyyyy!

I'm making a card that is a complete CASE of one of my friend's pretty cards.  She always makes really pretty cards.  Cindy travels to Pittsburgh one weekend a month to teach classes at a mall!  That is dedication!  You might enjoy Cindy's blog that you can find at www.cindyleebeedesigns.com  I love to give away prizes and one of the easiest ways is to have a prize for a clue in this post.  Be the first to email me the word blogger and you'll get a fun prize.

Another of my stamping friends is Oksana Semenska.  Oksana is the Super Hero of cards.  She makes beautiful cards and has wonderful classes in Port Orange.  You can peek at her pretty blog at https://www.funstamper.com/     Please keep Oksana and her family in your thoughts.  Her husband, Dima's, entire family is still in Ukraine and I know that her heart is very heavy at this time.

I also enjoyed this pretty card from one of my stampers, Mary.  Mary makes pretty cards with just the right of decorative elements.  I thought you might enjoy see her card and use it as good inspiration!

Enjoy the cards below!  Thank you, Cindy Lee and Oksana!

This is Cindy's Faux Center Gate Card.  Now I get to decorate it with daffodils.  This will be one of our March projects.  Perfect for Easter, Mother's Day, a Friend or Get Well.  Thank you, Cindy!

Thank you, Mary!  I love the Fresh Freesia.  It really has an air of spring and freshness about it.  I wish you could enjoy Mary's use of Wink of Stella, especially on the flowers.  A really lovely card.

Have a wonderful weekend and I'll see you again next week!

Card Making With Ree New Blog!

 Hello, My Stamping Friends,

Here we go again!  My original Blog succumbed to inattention during the pandemic.  Starting a new Blog has been challenging, but little by little I'll get there!

Oops, I did it again!  Every so often I have to rearrange furniture in my stamp room.  It usually leads to much more than I had originally set out to do.  This time I re-organized my retired stamps so that I can find things!  I know I'm fortunate to have such a large room with wonderful natural light but I do not enjoy being in an unkempt space.  Now I am happy to be back in my creative space.

                                        My room "Before"

My room "After".
After all of the moving around, I got right to it and used the recent Sale-a-Bration stamp set, Island Vibes, to create one of next week's class projects.  I love the pineapple and large leaf images.  I cut the leaves off of the pineapple stamp so that I could stamp using two different colors (Shaded Spruce and Bumble Bee).

Have a wonderful week!
